I have been teaching at Sauk Centre Elementary School since the fall of 2010.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University, and I have a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a K-12 Reading Endorsement from Concordia University, St. Paul.  It is my goal to provide a challenging, engaging, and safe learning environment for all students.  I believe it is important for students to be given many hands on opportunities to work to their fullest potential.  It is a privilege to be working here at Sauk Centre Elementary School and I cannot wait to work with your child!

My goal is to create a classroom environment where all students feel welcome and are motivated to work hard and challenge themselves in their learning. Hi, my name is Becky Schreiner. I grew up in Mankato, Minnesota and I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Mankato State University. My husband and I moved to Sauk Centre in 1996 when he started teaching Social Studies at Sauk Centre High School. I began teaching in 1997 and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything more fulfilling than teaching children. My family includes my Husband James, my son Isaac, my daughter Ana and our dog Miah. Some of my hobbies are: traveling, spending time at the lake, cheering my children on in their sporting events and looking for agates along Lake Superior. I truly believe that with determination and perseverance your child can do anything. My hope is to help each child believe and trust in their ability to succeed.
