I have taught English here since 1991, and more recently Computer Technology.  I live in Sauk Centre with my wife, an SC grad, so Go Streeters!  We are proud to have given the world a scientist in the form of our daughter - another SC grad. I enjoy skiing, windsurfing, fishing, bicycling, woodworking and gardening, in that exact order, and in all activities doing what I can to reduce my carbon footprint.

Hello! I am a recent graduate of St. Cloud State University, with a B.S. in Communication Arts and Literature Teaching, or simply a degree in English Education. I am new to teaching, but I am a Sauk Centre alum, and have lived in Sauk Centre for most of my life. I live with my husband and our three children. I am also the head speech coach here at Sauk Centre Secondary School, which keeps me busy from January through April. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing, and taking trips to the lake. 

My name is Cindy Montbriand. I am originally from Parkers, Prairie, Minnesota. After graduating from high school, I went to Fergus Falls Community College and then to the University of Minnesota, Moorhead. During my many years at Sauk Centre Public Schools, I have taught various grade levels of English; I currently teach English 7 and English 8.

My husband and I have two daughters, Alicia and Kelli, and one son-in-law, Jesse. In my spare time I enjoy watching sporting events, baking, and reading.

I started out my teaching career at Willmar High School, but being a 2006 graduate of Sauk Centre High School, I am very excited to be back in the community! I have a degree in Film Studies, Communication Arts & Literature, and I am currently finishing up my master's in English Studies.  I teach grades 9-12 and I also help out with the girl's swim team.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, swimming, and traveling.
