Molly Anderson

My name is Molly Anderson.   I grew up in Sauk Centre and graduated high school from Sauk Centre.  I obtained my Bachelor of Arts from The College of Saint Scholastica and then obtained my Master of Science in Early Childhood Special Education from Saint Cloud State University.  I have been an Early Childhood Special Education teacher since 2006. I started my teaching career in Prior Lake-Savage school district as a long term substitute. I then obtained an Early Childhood Special Education teaching position in Melrose, MN.  I worked in Melrose from 2006-2018. I started working in Sauk Centre as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher in 2018. I live Sauk Centre with my husband and 2 children, Quincy and Kelty. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sports, shopping, boating, crocheting, making and designing shirts and photography . I enjoy working with young children and love watching them grow and learn!

Angela Arceneau

My name is Angela Arceneau and I have been teaching in Sauk Centre since 2001. I work a split position – half of my time is spent working with preschool children with special needs within the school and the other half of my time is spent working with children under the age of 3 that have special needs in their homes. I live near Albany with my husband and 2 children, Hannah and Landon. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, scrapbooking, camping and going for rides on our Ranger. I like that every day is an adventure when working with young children!

Shawn Hintzen

Shawn Hintzen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from St. Cloud State University.   She teaches Early Childhood Special Education with children in the regular education preschool level programs, along with children in the kindergarten level programs.   She works with children who have a variety of developmental delays and teams with the speech therapist, as well as occupational therapist, physical therapist and other professionals to help a child learn in the most effective way. Shawn plays a critical role in early intervention education and has worked with Sauk Centre Public Schools for the past 30 years. Shawn has the chance to work with students at a very critical time in their lives. All of the lessons these young students learn serve as a solid foundation to build on as they progress through their school years.

I attended school at Bowling Green State University. Upon graduation I moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family and start my career. I love teaching and helping students explore, create and develop their thoughts, gifts and ideas. When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends!

Olivia Uphus

My name is Olivia Uphus and I teach preschool. I graduated from MSUM in the spring of 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Language and Literacy. I grew up here in Sauk Centre and this is my first lead teaching position but I worked at a daycare center as an assistant teacher throughout college. My favorite part about working with kids is seeing them make connections and continuously grow in their learning. When I am not at school I enjoy golfing, playing with my nephew, and spending time with family and friends.
