Advanced Art (quarter)

Art 8 (quarter) Required

-- This class consists of art activities which explore the elements of art and the principles of design.

Art 1 (quarter)

-- Prerequisite: None
- Develop skills for 2D art with ink, watercolor, acrylic paints, drawing, collage, and print making

Art 2 (quarter)

-- Prerequisite: None
- focus on 3D art forms with a variety of materials

Art Appreciation (quarter)

--prerequisite: none
-- an introduction to art history where you will create your own works influenced by the study

Choir 7 (full year) Required unless taking Band

-- open to all seventh grade students who have the desire to sing and enjoy music

Band 7 (full year) Required unless taking Choir

-- Open to student who have taken 6th grade band and those just beginning

Choir 8 (full year)

-- Prerequisite: Students must have participated in choir in 7th grade or by audition

Band 8 (full year)

-- Prerequisites: Students must have participated in band in 7th grade or by audition

Band/Choir (full year preferred, 2 quarter minimum)

--Prerequisite: Students must complete instruction in choir and band through the 8th grade level or by audition.

Choir/Music Studies (full year preferred, 2 quarter minimum)

--Prerequisite: Students must have participated in choir from 7th grade through the 8th grade level or by audition.

Band/Music Studies (full year preferred, 2 quarter minimum)

--Prerequisite: Students must complete instruction in band through the 8th grade level or by audition.

College Band (4 quarters)

--Junior or Seniors who have been in band throughout high school and meet the requirements for college courses are able to register for this course
