I have been the School Counselor since 2019.  I have advised students on class selection and grade requirements; helped with PSEO and college applications as well as employment applications; informed students and families of financial aid opportunities and scholarships; along with communicated graduation requirements so that career readiness is obtained.  Before becoming a School Counselor, I was a classroom instructor, coach, Athletic/Activities Director, and Academic Advisor.  My personal love for education is a means by which I try to contribute to the overall success of this school!  When not at school, you can find me following my husband Ken, and children Mauren, Maesyn, and Macoy.

Hey there! I am Hanna Lundeen, the Sauk Centre Secondary  5-12 School Behavioral Counselor. I have been a School Counselor for the past five years focusing more on behaviors and mental health. My job as a school counselor is to provide resources and support students with any social, emotional, academic or any mental health concerns that may come up during the school year. I partner with my team as well as staff, students and parents to problem solve with the main priorities being students' academic and social/emotional success. When I am not at school, you can find me hanging out with my family: Chris (my husband); my daughter Gracelyn (7); my daughter Lakelyn (4); and my two dogs Wes and Izzy.

My family and I moved to Sauk Centre in 1999 where I was a stay-at-home mom until my youngest daughter started kindergarten at Sauk Centre Elementary School.  I started working at Sauk Centre Public Schools as a substitute paraprofessional in the Fall of 2004.  From the fall of 2011 until 2018, I worked as a computer lab assistant.  In the fall of 2018, I joined the technology department and became the Chromebook contact at ISD 743. In the fall of 2022, I accepted the counseling secretary/assistant position. I thoroughly enjoy the counseling department and helping our students in any way possible! When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Tim, and our pets, Mr. T, Rupert, and Lenny. We love spending time with our adult daughters, Sarah (2014 graduate from SCSS) and Stephanie (2017 graduate from SCSS), who both live in Moorhead, Mn.
