Why Participate in High School Activities?
There are numerous benefits to student's participation in school activities. They improve their athletic knowledge and motor skills, learn self-discipline, build self-confidence, experience the realization of group goals, think as an individual and a group member, strengthen their respect for others, and practice good sportsmanship. All of these skills benefit students both on the field and in the classroom.
First State Bank and Agency - We Wear Maroon for You!
The employees of First State Bank and Agency wanted to show support to the Sauk Centre Public Schools and for the youth that participate in school activities. They developed a program of wearing maroon on Fridays and giving a donation to the fund to help families pay for the participation fee for activities. Since its inception, they have donated $500.00.
