Hello! I’m Steph Larson and I have been blest to be part of the Mainstreeter team since 2015. Since then, I have had several different positions in the district allowing me to work with many students on a variety of skills! I love everything about Streeter Pride and helping students grow as an individual. I have also been lucky enough to be the 9th Grade Volleyball coach in Sauk Centre since 2016. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering for Stearns County 4-H, playing in rec leagues, and hanging out on the family farm. Stop by and visit any time!

Hi, my name is Lisa Mergen. I began my Sauk Centre teaching career in 1992. I know what you are thinking, “She must really enjoy her job in Sauk Centre.” You would be absolutely correct! I began teaching Kindergarten then moved to 5th and 6th grade which I found enjoyable and challenging. 2nd grade is my current challenge that I enjoy immensely. In my classroom you will see us working hard every day to get better than we were the day before. Stop in and see us. The door is always open.

Becky Schreiner

Hi, my name is Becky Schreiner. I grew up in Mankato, Minnesota and I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Mankato State University. My husband and I moved to Sauk Centre in 1996 when he started teaching Social Studies at Sauk Centre High School. I began teaching in 1997 and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything more fulfilling than teaching children. My family includes my Husband James, my son Isaac, my daughter Ana and our dog Miah. Some of my hobbies are: traveling, spending time at the lake, camping, and looking for agates along Lake Superior. I truly believe that with determination and perseverance your child can do anything. My hope is to help each child believe and trust in their ability to succeed.
