Did you know? Two years of a single global language are required for entrance to most four-year colleges. In addition, many colleges require all students to study language at the University level as part of their general education, regardless of their major. Some colleges require students to take a language placement test to determine how much language will need to be studied at the university level. Language requirements vary at Technical and Community Colleges, depending on one’s course of study.
Due to the semester course length at Sauk Centre Secondary School, students are strongly encouraged to, at a minimum, complete Introductory Spanish, Spanish 1, and Spanish 2 in order to build a solid language foundation.
