Hello new 6th graders and families! My name is Kirsten Gruber and I teach Social Studies, Science and Health as part of the 6th grade team here at Sauk Centre Elementary.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy gardening, just enjoying the weather, or watching my favorite volleyball team. I also enjoy reading, playing board games, and learning new things. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a middle school endorsement in Science from St. Cloud State University. I am currently working my master's degree in Education.
I hope you are as excited to begin 6th grade, as I am to teach it. I look forward to meeting, working with, and learning from all of you this year!

Welcome, 6th-grade students and families! My name is Ms. Senger, and I’m excited to be your Language Arts teacher. I look forward to working with you as we embark on this exciting journey through 6th grade together.
A little about me: I’ve been teaching at Sauk Centre since the fall of 2023. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball and basketball, watching football, and spending time on the lake trying to catch fish.
I can’t wait for an amazing year ahead!

Welcome to Sixth Grade! I am very excited about this school year! This year I will be teaching sixth-grade math. During this course, the sixth graders will be working on many problem-solving skills that require critical thinking and group work. At the beginning of the school year, we will be reviewing to make sure how caught up the students are with their math skills. The sixth-grade curriculum will include ratios and rates, the division of decimals and fractions, integers, algebra, geometry, and statistics. We will also be focusing on real-world scenarios so students are able to see its connection to math.
I look forward to working with you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
