Jake Fischer

Hey! My name is Jake Fischer and I have been a Career and Technical Education Instructor here since 2015. I am licensed to teach grades 5-12. In my time here I have taught a variety of subjects related to Manufacturing and Transportation fields including; Small Engines, Automotives, Aviation, Manufacturing/CAD, Welding, Machine Tool, as well as a few others. I am passionate about all of the subjects I get to teach and enjoy teaching students skills that will be valuable to them in their lives or future careers. When I’m not teaching other people's kids, my wife and I have three of our own that keep us busy. We’ve also got a dog, a cat, and several chickens. In my time off I enjoy tinkering in the shop, furthering my skills in the areas that I teach, flying airplanes, hunting & fishing, and planning our families next adventure. Douglas Lee

My name is Doug Lee and I teach grades 7-12 Industrial Technology (now Trades and Industry) courses here at Sauk Centre High School. I started my teaching profession back in 2000.  I am very passionate about my shop classes and the activities I am involved with.  I graduated from Willmar Tech with a degree in carpentry.  After that I headed to Grand Forks and attended UND acquire my Industrial Technology and then  St. Cloud State for a Drivers' Edu licensure.  I strive to have the students built with Pride and be proud of your successes and know you have to make a mistake in order to learn (as long as there's no blood drops on the floor).  I work through the summers doing construction to stay up to speed on the latest tools and materials used in the field.  Along with teaching I also help with Robotics (FRC 7257), volunteer for wrestling tournaments and duals, drive bus, and a few other things as needed.  If you even want to trade ideas about sawdust or how to make it give me a call or email.
