Language Arts

Michelle Winters

I started out my teaching career at Willmar High School, but being a 2006 graduate of Sauk Centre High School, I am very excited to be back in the community! I have a degree in Film Studies, Communication Arts & Literature, and I am currently finishing up my master's in English Studies.  I teach grades 9-12 and I also help out with the girl's swim team.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, swimming, and traveling.

Hello! I am a proud Sauk Centre native and true Mainstreeter at heart. I hold a B.S. in Communication Arts and Literature Teaching from St. Cloud State University, along with two master's degrees—one in Teaching and another in Communications. Outside of the classroom, you’ll usually find me spending quality time with my family, reading, writing, or relaxing at the lake.

I have taught 8th-grade English in the Sauk Centre school district since 2021. I also coach football and golf.
