  • Attention 5-8 graders: 2 days to order your yearbook! Only 2 days left to guarantee you have a yearbook on Spring Fling Day! Order forms are available at the 5-8 and 9-12 office or go to and order with a debit/credit card.  See Sandy in the SH Media Center with any questions.

  • Tennis meeting for all girls entering 7-12 grade next fall. 

    • Where: Mr. Bergman's Room

    • When: 7:30 am on Tuesday, May 24th

    • Why:  Come meet the new coaches, Kristen Determan, Chrissy Hokanson, and Kristi Hoffman, and get information about summer tennis opportunities.  If you are unable to make it but are still interested please come see Mrs. Determan in Room 161 in the elementary

  • Girls Hockey Meeting: There will be a meeting for all girls interested in girls hockey this Thursday May 19 in the SH Gym at 7:45 am.  This meeting is to outline the summer program!


  • Attention Seniors: Chromebook collection will be on May 24th at 2:30 in the media center. Please bring your chromebook, charger and case.

  • 5-8 grade Spring Fling Information: We are looking forward to Spring Fling towards the end of the school year again this year.  This year, you will need to be eligible to go to this event.  To be eligible, during the 4th quarter of the school year, you need to have:

    • 0 suspensions

    • Have all detentions served

    • Have passing grades in all classes  

    • Students who have been assigned detentions due to being tardy to Advisory or other periods will need to serve those hours before being named "eligible" for Spring Fling.

    • It is important to be on time for all of your classes, including Advisory.

Repeat Announcements

  • Lunch Balance Info: As of Monday, May 16th, if a student's lunch account is overdrawn, they will not be able to charge extra entrees.  However, they can purchase extra entrees if they bring $1.50 cash.

  • Help!  I'm running out of room in the 9-12 office due to the huge amount of Lost & Found items.  Please, please, please stop in and see if any of these items belong to you!  I will be donating all items after MAY 18!

  • Come one come all to The Margaret Show!  May 21 at 7:30 pm in the Auditorium. Go to to learn more about it and for a link to purchase tickets. 

  • 5-8 grade students: Any 5th-8th graders who would like to attend Challenge Academy in Alexandria this summer should see Mrs. Schaeffer in room 112 for an informational packet. Challenge Academy offers courses that are designed to challenge students who are high potential learners with opportunities that are not found in a traditional classroom. This program runs from June 6-8. Deadline for registration is May 20.  

  • 🌎 Grad Party attendees wishing to compete in the AMAZING RACE during the lock-in can sign up by May 25th in the 9-12 Office! Must be teams of 4 people!  🌍

  • Looking for a summer job? Stop by the 9-12 office and check out local job opportunity flyers.

Summer School

  • CREDIT RECOVERY 2022 SUMMER SCHOOL: If you are in need of making up 9-12th grade credits, summer school is an option.

Location: ALC in Melrose (9 Second Street SW Melrose, MN)

Dates: June 6-24

July 5-29


Time: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
