Special Education Day is celebrated on December 2 to commemorate the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act into law on this day in 1975 (IDEA). IDEA granted children with special needs access to free and quality public education.

Important Seniors:  Parchment: If you need a copy of your transcript sent to a college/university/technical school, please complete your Parchment account ASAP and submit your request before noon on Wednesdays.  We will be completing Parchment orders every Wednesday starting at noon.  If your order was submitted after noon on Wednesday, that order will be completed the following Wednesday.

• Juniors and Seniors: Applications are now being accepted for the ExCEL and Triple A awards sponsored by the MSHSL.  See Angie to receive the application form.

• The ExCEL Award – Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership – is a unique recognition program designed exclusively for Minnesota high school juniors who are active in school activities, leaders in their schools, and who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service.

• The Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award:  commonly known as the Triple 'A' Award, honors high school seniors throughout the state who have a 3.0 or higher-grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities. The deadline for both applications is Dec 4.
