Band/Choir (full year preferred, 2 quarter minimum)

Prerequisite:  Students must complete instruction in choir and band through the 8^th grade level or by audition.

Credit:  1 credit per quarter

Grade:  9-12

College Credit:  Yes – See College Band

Students must be registered quarters 3 and 4 in order to participate in MSHSL contests.  

There will be 1 choir and 1 band that will meet during the block.   If you are in both band and choir, you will be in rehearsal the entire block.

*Any senior enrolled in 12/16 quarters of music through grades 9-12 and all 4 quarters their senior year is eligible for the spring New York City trip.  Any exceptions must be approved by the instructor and administration.
